Mary Lou and family,
Many incredible childhood memories were made with Derrick. Climbing the pine tree in the side yard, shooting pool in the basement, playing with the tyco cars, Nintendo tournaments, just hanging around the neighborhood; and one indelible memory that taught me that bullying was wrong (Honey Bee - remember that?) - that memory is actually a fond one of mine and I think it strengthened my friendship with Derrick. The last time I saw Derrick was 10 years ago - I don't know how he found out, but when I was loading the moving truck he came over and helped load it at my parent's house on Bluebird Road. He was a friend indeed.
The wind is knocked out of me - it's far too soon. I pray the God of all comfort will hold your hands and give you the hope and peace that comes only by Jesus Christ. Love and prayers, Teddy Monsour
