Diane (Zimmer) McCormack, 54, of Mutton Hollow Road, passed away at her home on Friday, August 13, 2010 following a courageous battle with ovarian cancer.

Diane was born in Niskayuna on January 1, 1956, she was the daughter of William and Agnes (Shultz) Zimmer of Saratoga Springs.

Diane married Brian McCormack on July 16, 2010 at The Santanoni Preserve in Newcomb.

Diane graduated from Linton High School in Schenectady and received her Masters Degree in Education from The College of St. Rose in Albany. She was the Director of Services for Children with Disabilities for Essex County Public Health. She enjoyed her horses, her dog and the outdoors.

Diane was predeceased by her brother, William Stephen Zimmer in October of 1968.

Survivors besides her beloved husband and parents include her two sisters, Susan Sammons and her husband Bob of Colonie and Joyce Gloss and her husband Tom of Greenfield; her nephew, Robert Sammons of Colonie; her uncle, Stephen Shultz of Albany and many close friends especially Mary Ann and Sandy.

At Diane’s request there will be no calling hours.

Services and burial will be at the convenience of the family.
