Donna Lee Anderson Conlon, 65, went into the arms of the Lord on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at Glens Falls Hospital surrounded by her loving husband of fifty years, George, and their children.

Born on February 5, 1947, she was the daughter Gerald and Lois Anderson and Mary and Bill Edwards all of
Glens Falls.

Donna lived all of her life in Fort Edward and married George Conlon in 1963. In addition to tirelessly raising four children, she worked at Sherwood Medical for 27 years and retired in 1997.

She enjoyed camping, fishing, painting, her beloved dogs Lady and Tubby, and spending time with her family and friends.

Donna will be remembered for her strength, selflessness and perseverance. For all that she endured, Donna never complained, and was an inspiration to all who knew her.

She is predeceased by her mother, Mary Edwards, father, Gerald Anderson, and a sister, Gerilynn Anderson Kingsley.

Left to cherish her memories besides her parents, Lois Anderson and Bill Edwards include her loving husband George Conlon of Fort Edward, four children, Trace Conlon and wife Mary Ann of Fort Edward, Sandra LaRose and husband Michael of South Glens Falls, Christopher Conlon and wife Crystal of Fort Edward, and Matthew Conlon and wife Cindy of Queensbury , grandchildren, Samantha, Ben, Jake, Joe and Liz LaRose, Nikolas Conlon, Crystal, Ashley and Christopher Conlon, Ariana and Matthew Conlon, two great grandchildren, Alexis and Steven, siblings, Charlotte Ferguson and husband Larry of Chicago, IL, Danny Anderson and wife Pat of Fort Edward, Joseph Anderson and wife Julean of Saratoga, Nelson Anderson of of Ballston Spa, Virginia Cannon and husband Craig of Delaware, Clifford Saville and wife Robin of Glens Falls, and Dawn Saville of Albany, brother and sister in-law, Robert and Donna Conlon of South Glens Falls, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

At Donna’s request there will be no calling hours.

A Memorial Service and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested memorial donations in Donna’s name be made to the SPCA of Upstate NY PO Box 171, Hudson Falls, NY 12839 or The Center for Donation and Transplant 218 Great Oaks Boulevard, Albany, NY 12203.
