ARGYLE
Doris S. Derusha, age 65, went into the arms of the Lord on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 after a long illness.

Born on February 10, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Sadie (Anderson) McKee.

Doris was married to Albert Derusha Sr., and together they spent 46 years sharing their lives and raising their family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Her greatest pleasure in life was being able to spend time with her many family members. She was most happy when surrounded by her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a homemaker her entire life and enjoyed baking for the holidays and tending to her crocheting.

In addition to her husband, Doris is survived by her children: Albert Derusha, Jr., and his life mate Melissa, their children, Travis, Jared and Cheyenne, and Albert's older daughter, Christina, from a previous marriage; Ginger and her husband, Tim Martindale, and their children Tracy, Katy and Tim Jr.; Nancy Derusha and her life mate Mack, and their children, Ronald, Sharon and Roxanne; Timothy Derusha and his daughter, Elizabeth; James Derusha and his wife Tammi, and their children, Ashley, Sarah and Jamie; Sonya Jurnak and her husband Matthew, and their son Aaron; Robert Derusha and his wife Pam, and their children Robert Jr., Rebecca and Brittany; her youngest, Christopher Derusha and his wife Rebecca, and their children Michael, Navasha, Kiara, Coralee, and Keeley, and Christopher Jr. from a previous relationship; as well as her twin brother, David McKee.

Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, March 11th 2010 at 10 a.m. with the Reverend Deborah Peacock, pastor of the Argyle United Methodist Church, officiating.

Burial will be on April 17, 2010 at 10 am at Union Cemetery, Fort Edward.
