HUDSON FALLS
Edward G. Hunt, 75, passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at the Glens Falls Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Hudson Falls, he was the son of Evert Leslie and Elizabeth Eliza (DuPrey) Hunt. Edward was raised in Glens Falls and attended school there. He worked for many years at the Imperial Furniture Company on Warren Street in Glens Falls where he delivered and repaired furniture and was a general handy man at the business.

He enjoyed hunting near Spier Falls and fishing in Smith Basin and he loved watching westerns on TV but his greatest enjoyment came from spending time with his family especially his beloved grand children.

Besides his parents he was predeceased by his two brothers Ernie Hunt and Fred Hunt and his sister Helen Carpenter.

Edward is survived by his significant other Janice Flagg of Hudson Falls, his daughter Robin (Hunt) Schenk and her husband Anthony of Hudson Falls, his sons: Edward Hunt and his wife Irene of Hudson Falls; Brian Flagg and his girlfriend Peggy Pratt of Hudson Falls; Michael Hunt and his wife Jackie of Hudson Falls and Donald Hunt of Florida, his grandchildren Amber Schenk of Hudson Falls, Taylor, Maya, and Michael Jr. Hunt of Hudson Falls and Virginia Jakway of Glens Falls; his three sisters: Anna Lebrun of Glens Falls; Margaret "Maggie" Bates of Glens Falls and Mary Kilmartin of Lake George, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Family and friends may call from 2-5pm on Saturday, December 19, 2009 at M. B. Kilmer Funeral Home, 82 Broadway, Fort Edward, New York.

A funeral service will follow at 5pm at the funeral home with Regina Haag of Adirondack Friends Meeting, officiating.
