Elizabeth Lorena Humiston, 90, of Lick Spring Road, passed away Tuesday March 5, 2013 at the Pleasant Valley Nursing Home.

Born August 27, 1922 in Fort Miller, she was the daughter of the late Earl W. and Lorena M. (Yandow) Sanders.

Elizabeth enjoyed cooking, horse shows, canning, camping and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Besides her parents, Elizabeth is predeceased by her husband Leroy Humiston, her daughter Susan Blackburn, Sisters; Rita Booth, Lena Weatherwax, Brothers; Earl Sanders, Joe Sanders and Bob Sanders.

She is survived by her son Gary Humiston and wife Linda of Argyle, Daughters Andrea Wood and husband Brad of Granville, Denise Fronhofer and husband Carl of Salem, Deidre Stevens and husband Steve of Argyle, and Lucinda Saunders and husband John of Argyle; 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

At Elizabeth’s request, there will be no calling hours.

Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family
