Florence M. Trombly, 90, of East Street, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 5, 2015, at the home of her son and daughter­in­law, Randy and Linda Trombly.

Born on January 2, 1925 in Manchester, NH, she was the daughter of the late Julius T. and Eva (Knault) VanHeuverzwyn.

Florence was a Bank Auditor in the Plattsburgh area for many years. She was an avid bowler and received many bowling trophies and awards. Along with her husband, George, the couple was active in The Marine Corp Toys­for­Tots as well as the HIHO Club in Harbor Isles, Venice, Florida.

Besides her parents, Florence was also predeceased by her husband George Trombly, who passed away on Dec. 7, 2005 as well as her daughter, Bonnie Pender.

Left to cherish her memories include her son, Randy Trombly and his wife Linda of Argyle; her grandchildren, Cassie Barjaris of Las Vegas, Neveda and her children, Taylor and Aubrey; Scott Trombly and his wife Beth of Las Vegas, Nevada and their daughter, Robin; Shawn Patrick and his wife Diane of Navato, California and Amanda Ireus and her husband Fen of Argyle and their daughter, Amiyah.

At Florence’s request there will be no calling hours.

Services for Florence and George will be conducted 2pm July 11, 2015 at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Duell Road, Schuylerville.
