Fred B. Fuller Jr., 86, passed away on Monday, January 20, 2014 at Albany Medical Center with his loving family by his side.

Born January 24, 1927 in Moreau, NY, Fred was the son of the late Fred and Pauline (Edgerly) Fuller.

In 1970, Fred married Amelia C. Della Cioppa at the South Glens Falls United Methodist Church.

Fred was a veteran of the United States Army, where we proudly served in the Phillipines, Korea, and Germany during World War II. He was also a member of the Moreau Emergency Squad.

He retired from Finch Pruyn and Co. after 31 years of service.

Fred loved people, especially little kids. He enjoyed making everyone laugh. He was a prankster and forever joking around. Fred will always be remembered for playing Happy Birthday on the harmonica for everyone he knew. Fred enjoyed entertaining guests at his pool and invited everyone over for a swim every chance he got. He loved to make clocks and comical signs as well as collecting beer cans. He also loved hunting and gardening. Most of all, Fred loved spending time with his family, and his grandchildren were the entire world to him.

In addition to his parents, Fred was predeceased by his brothers, Sheldon and Gordon Fuller, and his sisters, Grace Fuller and Bernice LaPlanche, as well as an infant grandson, Joseph Pezzulo.

Left to cherish Fred’s memory are his loving wife of 44 years, Amelia Fuller, his children; Sue Pezzulo and her husband Joseph, Patricia Ovitt, Frank Battiste and his wife Paula, Fred Battiste and his wife Cindee, Carl Battiste and his wife Cindy, and Mary Lamb and her husband Bill, his grandchildren; Christopher and Laura Pezzulo, Scott, Brett and Jennifer Cook, Frank Jr. and Peter Battiste, Justine Battiste, Jenna Sidney, Benjamin Battiste, and Carl and Aubrey-Anna Battiste, 5 great-grandchildren, brother and sisters, Harold Fuller, Marion Hughto and husband Eugene and Jane Wahl, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A funeral service will follow calling hours at 6pm at the funeral home with Rev. William Church of the Pine Knolls Alliance officiating.

Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
