Gail Jarvis, 71, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 14, 2019.
Born on March 30, 1948, in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of the late William Holcomb Sr. and Vera (Gleason) Holcomb.
Gail graduated from Argyle High School. On May 15, 2001, she married Francis Arthur “JR” Jarvis Jr. in Fort Edward. They were married for 16 years until his passing in of Jan. of 2018. For many years Gail was self-employed cleaning houses.
She enjoyed going to garage sales, camping, being outdoors and Pepsi. Gail loved spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents and husband, Gail was predeceased by her brother, William Holcomb Jr.; her brother-in-law, Joe Trapasso.
Left to cherish her memory include her children, Heather Sweet and her husband, Steven, Kevin Guilder and his wife, Vickie, Roy Guilder and his wife, Candy; her grandchildren, Derrick and Emily Guilder; her sisters, Mary Trapasso of Nebraska, Karen Putnam of California and their families; the entire Jarvis Family; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
At Gail’s request there will be no calling hours.
Services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Memorial donations in Gail’s memory can be made to a charity of one’s choice.
