Glenn A. Henry, 59, passed away on Tuesday July 8, 2014 at the Stratton Veterans Hospital in Albany.

Born in Glens Falls on July 21, 1954, he was the son of Mary (Duell) Dutcher and the late Paul Henry.

He attended Glens Falls High School and was a veteran of the US Marine Corp from 1973-1975.

Glenn was employed in building maintenance field for various area companies.

Besides his father, Glenn is predeceased by a sister, Gail Henry LaCarte and a step-brother, Kenneth Dutcher Jr.

Left to cherish his memories are his mother Mary Dutcher and husband Kenneth Sr. of Queensbury, children, Tonia Balfour, Michele (Tim) Mallory all of South Glens Falls, Adam Henry of Clifton Park, and Rebecca Henry of Mechanicville, grandchildren, Owen Balfour, Breana, Connor, and Aedan Mallory, brothers, P. Gene (Rayna) Henry of Gansevoort, Gerald Henry of Queensbury, sisters, M. Genette (Tim) McCarthy of Mass., Joanne (Chip) McTiernan of Phoenix, AZ, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A funeral service will follow at 6pm at the funeral home with Regina Haag, Adirondack Friends Meeting, officiating.

Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.

A special thank you to the doctors and staff at the Stratton Veterans Hospital 9th floor-Heros Way for their kind and considerate care.
