Jacqueline Woodard, 80, passed away Monday, November 4, 2013 at Glens Falls Hospital with her family by her side after a brief illness.

Born December 13, 1932 in Swanton, VT, she was the daughter of the late Adelard and Marion (St. Francis) Boss.

Jackie graduated from Glens Falls High School in 1952. She married her high school sweetheart, David Woodard Jr., on November 27, 1952, at St. Alphonsus Church in Glens Falls, NY. She was a communicant of St. Michael the Archangel Church since 1955.

Jackie will always be remembered for being very family oriented. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well has her best buddy Rascal, who was her little Yorkie.

In addition to her parents, Jackie was predeceased by her son, Thomas A. Woodard and her twin sister, Geraldine Cornwell.

Jackie is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, David Woodard, Jr., her daughter Pamela Dragon and her husband Bruce of South Glens Falls, her son James Woodard and his wife Karen of Moreau, her daughter-in-law Melinda Markey of Colorado, her grandchildren; Jodi Harrington and her husband Jeffrey of South Glens Falls, Kailyn and Cameron Woodard of Moreau, Douglas Woodard and his wife Jade of Colorado, and Amy Markey, also of Colorado, her five great-grandchildren; Jocelyn, Juliette, Riley, Brielle, and Makayla, as well as her Yorkie, Rascal.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11am, Saturday November 9, 2013, following calling hours, at St. Michael the Archangel Church with the Rev. Guy A. Childs, Pastor officiating.

Rite of Committal will follow at the St. Alphonsus Cemetery, 52 Luzerne Road, Queensbury, NY.
