Obituary for Janet Ann Diamond (Moran)
KINGSBURY
Janet A. (Moran) Diamond, 84, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, January 16, 2014, with her family by her side.
Born November 9, 1929 in Utica, NY, Janet was the daughter of the late Russell and Mildred (Ripka) Moran.
Janet and her husband Walter owned and operated the Hadley General Store for many years. Janet enjoyed cooking, and taking care of her cats Sissy and Honey Baby, but most of all, loved spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, Janet was predeceased by her husband Walter Diamond, her brother Russell Moran, and her brother and sister in law, Frank and Alice Ficarro.
Janet is survived by her children, John Diamond and his wife Patricia, and Barbara Spellman, her grandchildren, Kimberly Diamond, Lyndsie Diamond, John Diamond, Chase Perkins, and Chad Perkins, as well as several nieces and nephews.
