Obituary for Jared Nathaniel Samuelson

Jared Nathaniel Samuelson, 28 passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at the Glens Falls Hospital.
Born in Lancaster, PA on April 13, 1991, he was the son of Jeffrey Sr. and Shari (Montonya) Samuelson.
Jared attended Salem Washington Academy.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Greenwich. He worked for W & E Phillips Locksmiths Inc in Albany.
Jared enjoyed animals, going to Walmart with his brothers, watching movies on Sunday nights with his grandma, cooking many different dishes, was very talented at playing the piano, enjoyed learning about technology and computers, and especially loved taking walks in the woods, his family, and his dog, Romeo.
He is predeceased by his grandfather, Raymond Matteson.
Left to cherish Jared’s memory is his parents, Jeffery and Shari Samuelson Sr., siblings, Amanda Nurnberg and husband Jon, Jeffery Samuelson Jr., Andrew Samuelson and wife Cami, Matthew Samuelson, Joeetta Samuelson, David Samuelson and wife Maryfer, John Samuelson and wife Camille, maternal grandmother, Barbara Matteson, paternal grandparents, Gary & Edna Samuelson, along with 9 nieces and nephews, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
At Jared’s request, there will be no calling hours.
A Memorial service will be conducted at 1pm on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 111 Academy St, Greenwich, NY 12834.
Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
