Obituary

ARGYLE

It is with the deepest sadness that we announce the unexpected tragic death of our son Jason Michael Commisso on January 9, 2020 in Mesa, AZ.

Born September 21 1978, in Albany, NY he was the son of Dominick and Joanne (Schrimsher) Commisso.

Jason attended Argyle Central School. After graduating, he entered the military. At the time of 911, Jason was stationed in South Korea and was immediately deployed to the front line in Iraq. He spent the next 13 years completing four Combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan serving a total of 20 years in the Army.
Jason's accomplishments as a soldier are evidenced by his untold sacrifices to his country. He is truly one of our heroes.

Jason is survived by his best friend and brother Michael Commisso, who also served with him on the front lines in Iraq. The two of them have been inseparable all their lives. He is also survived by his loving mother and father, Joanne and Dominick Commisso, as well as numerous aunts, uncles nieces, nephews and military service/ VMC family.

Friends may call from 1-4pm on Monday, January 20, 2020 at the M.B. Kilmer Funeral Home, 123 Main Street, Argyle, NY 12809.

A funeral service will be conducted at 4pm following the calling hours.

Dominick and family,
Lenny and I are so very sorry for your loss. We did not know until today or we would have attended his wake to show support to you all. You should be very proud for all he has accomplished. He has our utmost respect for what he did for his country. Hold onto his memory within your heart and speak of him often, it truly helps.

Dear Dom Jo Michael
Mere words can’t say to u all how we feel right now over Jason’s passing. It’s been hard being away from you all this week and can’t wait to see u at the service tomorrow when we get in. It’s been the awesome awesome memories of our many many super terrific family memories with Jason that got us thru this week. Jason was an awesome son, brother, nephew, cousin and friend to all who had the opportunity to know him. He will never be forgotten as that, and a true American hero serving this great country for 20 years, by all his families including us, military and club. Jason, May u Rest In Peace and know we are all with you
All our love Aunt Jeanne and Uncle Billy
