Obituary for Jason Thomas Phillips

Jason T. Phillips also known by everyone by the nickname of Jbird, 27, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, July 8, 2023.
Born February 5, 1996 in Camden, NJ, he was the son of Lora Maxwell and the late Ernest Phillips.
Jason was only 27 years young. Whatever this man had thrown at him, you were guaranteed to see him doing it with a smile or busting jokes. He was a wonderful human being. He would give you his shirt off his back and go without and not even think twice about it. He was a diehard Eagles fan, extremely knowledgeable when it came to anything electronic, and was always a pleasure to be around. He was a tremendous uncle to his two nephews, and both loved him so much. Jason was a remarkable son to his mother. A dependable man!
Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Lora Maxwell, his sister Jessica Phillips-Brophy, his brother-in-law Mike Brophy, his nephews who he adored, Michael and Ernest, his grandmother Lora Trucksess, his uncles; Jeff Maxwell, Drew, Stuart, Wayne, and Spencer Trucksess, as well as many other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Arrangements are pending and in the care of the M.B. Kilmer Funeral Home, 82 Broadway, Fort Edward, NY 12828. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
A Celebration of Jason’s life will be announced at a later date.
