Jennie Lee Jones, 91, longtime resident of Hudson Falls, passed away Tuesday evening, April 13, 2021, at Slate Valley Nursing Home following some medical issues.
Born on Jan. 9, 1930, in Pawlet, VT, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Nellie (Chamberlain) Leach.
Jennie grew up in Pawlet and later moved to Granville, where she married Johnny Jones. She raised many of her children. Jennie enjoyed watching her morning shows, listening to music, traveling and her long car rides with her daughter-in-law, Darlene Jones.
In addition to her parents, Jennie was predeceased by her husband, Johnny Jones; 5 children and several siblings.
Left to cherish her memory include her five children; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and one sister.
At Jennie’s request there will be no calling hours. Services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
