Joseph P. Harrington, 40, went into the arms of God on Friday, April 11, 2014.

Born April 24, 1973 in Glens Falls, NY, he was the son of Charles Harrington and the late Joan Bennett.

Joe graduated from Argyle Central School, and married Jennifer Blue on August 6, 1993 in Argyle.

Joe enjoyed farming and was employed by Cargill in Salem, NY. He also loved to play and coach soccer, and could often be found hunting and fishing. He loved the Oakland Raiders. He was a hardworking man, and his family always came first. He most loved spending time with his children and he shared his love of hunting and fishing with them. His children were his life. He was an amazing father and a great man and will be missed by many.

In addition to his mother, Joe was predeceased by his grandmother, Marion Harrington, his maternal grandparents, Jasper and Marjorie Bennett, and his aunt Cindy Bain.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 20 years, Jennifer Harrington, his children; Jessica Harrington and her significant other Matt Sesera, Breanna Harrington, Benjamin Harrington, and Mackenzie Harrington, his brother Charles Bennett and his wife Flo and their children Jillian and Jenessah, his aunt, Bonnie Lant, his uncles; Danny Bennett and his wife Pam, John Bennett and his wife Liz, and Bob Bennett, his aunt Ida Warner and her husband Tony, his mother-in-law Joann Caden and her significant other Keith Saunders, his father-in-law Robert Caden, his sisters-in-law; Maryann and Tina Caden, his brother-in-law Edward Weih, and his best friend Lee Saunders.

A memorial service will be celebrated at 5pm following calling hours, with Rev. Steve McLean pastor of the Argyle Presbyterian Church officiating.

Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
