Joseph Russo, 64, of Birchwood Road, passed away Saturday (October 11, 2008) at the Saratoga Hospital.

Born on Feb. 4, 1944 in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Anthony and Gaetana (Girraputo) Russo.

Joseph was a graduate of Uniondale High School in Long Island. He was a graduate of CUNY Baruch Collge and received his MBA from the University of New Haven, in New Haven, Connecticut. Joseph was a US Army Veteran and served during the Vietnam Conflict. He owned several businesses throughout his career including, Victory Specialty Packaging in Victory Mills, NY, ManPac Inc. in Scotia, NY and currently TK Packaging in Ballston Spa, NY. Joseph deeply loved his family and was a very giving and selfless father and grandfather. He could always see the good in everyone.

Survivors include his two daughters, Kimberly Milligan and her husband Matthew of South Glens Falls, and Theresa Felton and her husband Jason of Orlando, Florida and their mother, Joan Russo; his two granddaughters, Keely Milligan and Elise Felton; his companion, Debora Ward and her family; his sisters, Modesta Baruso, Francine Castillo, and Louise Russo all of Long Island and several nieces and nephews and their families.

Friends may call from 4 to 7pm Tuesday (October 14, 2008) at the M.B. Kilmer Funeral Home, 136 Main St. South Glens Falls, NY 12803.

Memorial Services will follow the calling hours at 7:00pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
