Obituary for Karen Sue Bills (LaRoe)

Karen Sue (LaRoe) Bills, 61, passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at Glens Falls Hospital.
Born November 23, 1960, in Glens Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Claude Barrett and Peggy LaRoe.
Karen married William Bills on June 12, 2001, and they vacationed in Maine for their honeymoon. Karen loved the outdoors and kept a beautiful yard with a nice lawn and flower gardens. She enjoyed fishing and had a special love for animals, including her birds and dogs. Most of all, Karen was a wonderful homemaker who loved spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, Karen was predeceased by her daughter, Christina Secor, and her brother Bruce LaRoe.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 21 years, William Bills, her children; Eddie Sherwood III (Heather), Peggy Bain (Tish), Matt Bain (Kristen), David Phillips (Desiree), and William Bills Jr., her grandchildren; McKenzie, Jordyn, and Nicolas, great-grandchildren, Madeline, Avery, Jasmine, Paisley, Alexis, Mason, Gracelyn, and Journee, her siblings; Claude Barrett Jr., Barbara Blackmere, Patricia Bowen, Jeffrey LaRoe, Marcus LaRoe, and Sherry LaRoe, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends may call from 4-6pm on Thursday, April 21, 2022, at the M.B. Kilmer Funeral Home, 82 Broadway, Fort Edward, NY 12828. A memorial service will follow the calling hours at 6pm with Rev. Flossie Bates officiating.
Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
