Obituary for Lenita A. LaRouche

South Glens Falls

Lenita A. LaRouche, 90, passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2023, of natural causes at home surrounded by family.

Born in Warrensburg, NY on May 26, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Ethel Bennett. Lenita graduated from. Warrensburg High School in 1951 and Albany Business College in 1952.

She was predeceased by her husband, John J. LaRouche. John and Nita were married at St. Cecilia's Church in Warrensburg on December 27, 1952.

She was a secretary at Scott Paper Company, a clerk at the former Grand Union in South Glens Falls and secretary /bookkeeper at M&G in Fort Edward, NY. Nita retired in 1996.

Lenita was a communicant of St. Michael's the Archangel Church and a member of the Bereavement Committee.

Survivors include her children, Debbi Carroll (Bob) of Burbank, CA, Lauri Robillard (Paul) of Queensbury, NY and John D. LaRouche (Brenda) of Holly Springs, GA; her six grandchildren, Robert Carroll (Alicia) of Burbank, CA, Russell Combs (Heather) of Lake Luzerne, NY, Rachel Robillard of Seattle, WA, Brianna LaRouche of Kennesaw, GA, Brandon LaRouche (Hannah) of Palo Alto, CA and Ryan LaRouche (Patricia) of Boynton Beach, FL, her seven great-grandchildren, Max Carroll, Olivia Carroll, Michael Donaldson, Madison Pettigrew, Kinsley Combs, Leo LaRouche and Emme LaRouche as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Nita volunteered at Moreau Senior Center teaching basic computer skills. She also delivered for Meals on Wheels and volunteered at the House of Grace. Lenita enjoyed gardening, watching movies, doing puzzles and spending time with family and friends.

Friends may call from 10 to 11am on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at St. Michaels Church 80 Saratoga Ave. South Glens Falls, NY, immediately followed by a funeral mass.

Rite of Committal will follow the funeral mass at St. Mary's Cemetery at 225 Main Street in South Glens Falls.

Memorial donations may be made to the St. Michael's Bereavement Committee, 80 Saratoga Ave., South Glens Falls, NY 12803.
