Obituary for Lillie Marie Debnam (White)

SOUTH GLENS FALLS

Lillie Marie (White) Debnam, 92, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 24, 2023 at the Elderwood of North Creek.

Born November 16, 1930 in Edenton, NC, she was daughter of the late Richard and Cleopatra (Jernigan) White.

Marie married Clarence Debnam, and together they raised their family until his passing in 2004. She was a hairdresser who worked out of her home. Marie loved to keep beautiful gardens and cook for her family. She and Clarence enjoyed taking long car rides through the countryside just to see where they would end up. They could often be found watching the planes take off from Warren County Airport. Marie also enjoyed watching The Young and the Restless, but most of all loved spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Marie was predeceased by her daughter, Robin Debnam, and her sisters, Pattie Fayton, Hattie Johnson, and Doris Boyce.

Left to cherish her memory are her children; Carl Debnam (Janice), Keith Debnam, Rita Debnam, and Clarence Debnam Jr., her grandchildren; Gabriella Vance, KaiEnna Vance, Patricia Magehee (Larry), and Keisha Debnam, her brothers; Richard White Jr., Thomas White (Elnora), and Melvin White (Libby), as well as several nieces and nephews.
