LUANA IDA ROHLIN, age 64, passed away on Tuesday, August 10th, 2010.

Luana was born in Glens Falls Hospital on January 26, 1946. She was the daughter of Edna (Cleaveland) and Milford Johnson of South Glens Falls.
She was a graduate of South Glens Falls High School, Class of 1964.

She graduated from the University of Buffalo with a BS/RN degree and was a retired nurse educator affiliated with the Garden City Hospital in Garden City, Michigan.
She was a Past President of the Association of Rehabilitation Nurses , Southeastern Michigan Chapter.

She married David R.Rohlin, a college classmate from Newark, New York on Thanksiving Day November 23, 1967 in the Adirondack Friends Meeting, South Glens Falls. They were married for 43 years and have resided in Redford Township, Michigan for the past 20 years.

Luana is predeceased by her parents and her brother, Walton Johnson who died
on September 26, 2009 in Portland, Maine.

She is survived by her husband and three children; Tamara Lu Rohlin of Marietta, Georgia, Joel David Rohlin of Coldwater, Michigan, and Alexis Suzanne Rohlin of Redford Township, Michigan; two grandsons, Alexander and Jacob of Marietta, Georgia; a sister who shared her same birthday 15 years apart, Dr. Marilyn Van Dyke of Queensbury, New York and a brother, Erwin Johnson and his wife, Ann of Venice, Florida, several nieces and nephews and her cousins, Colin Johnson and his wife Carol of Hickory, North Carolina, David Johnson of Fruitport, Michigan, and Robert Johnson of South Glens Falls, New York..

Visitation was held on Thursday August 12 from 2-8 p.m. and a funeral service on Friday August 13 at 10 am. at John N. Santeiu and Son Funeral Home, 1139 Inkster Road (between Ford Road and Cherry Hill) , Garden City, Michigan.

A graveside service, with family and friends, will be held at Friends Cemetery, corner of Ridge and Cronin Roads, Queensbury, New York on Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at 11 a.m with Regina Haag, pastor, officiating.
