Margaret Kozma Carpenter, 94, E. Hunter St., Glens Falls, passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2014 at the Glens Falls Hospital.
Born on December 3, 1919 in Witherbee, NY, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Mary (Nagy) Kozma.
Margaret graduated from Mineville High School, Mineville, NY.
On September 11, 1942, Margaret married Carl L. Carpenter in Bennettsville, SC.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Paul D. Carpenter, her husband, Carl L. Carpenter, who passed away May 26, 2007, brothers, Stephen, Alexander, Joseph and Raymond, and sister, Olga Sabo.
Left to cherish her memory are a son, Ronald C. Carpenter and his wife Dyann of Volcano, CA; her sisters, Lillian Dawson and Janet Smith; grandsons, Noah Carpenter and his wife Cassandra of Glens Falls, Ryan, Michael, Jeffrey Carpenter all of CA; granddaughter, Lisa Carpenter in Australia; a great grandson, Cameron Carpenter of CA and many nieces and nephews.
Margaret enjoyed making ceramics, doing crossword puzzles, reading and cross stitch.

Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Regina Haag, of Adirondack Friends Church, officiating.
Burial will follow at Pine View Cemetery, Queensbury, NY.
