Hudson Falls, NY and Williston, Vt.
Marie J. Gover, 76, of LaClaire Street, passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2014, at Glens Falls Hospital following a long illness.
Born July 23, 1937, in Middlebury Vermont, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Inez (Perry) Masterson.
Marie was a former Senior Health Aide for Visiting Nurses Association in Colchester, Vt. She also had worked at the Red Cross. She enjoyed flower gardening and oil painting.
Besides her parents, she was also predeceased by her infant son, Arnold Gover and her sister, Barbara Dwy.
Survivors include her children, Arnelda Gover of Williston, Vt., Robert Gover and Yanella of Queensbury, Scott Gover and Pam Murray of Willston, Vt., Cheryl Rawson and Rick of Weaverville, NC, Roy Gover of Williston, Vt. and Tina Gover and Frederick Zurmuhlen, of Fort Ann; her grandchildren, Christopher Gover, Benjamin Lane, Jessica Harding and Dillon Gover; her great-grandchildren, Ryan, Katelynn, Tristan and Lauren; her sisters, Carol Wales, Janice Ketcham, Dorothy Dragon, Brenda Masterson, Pamela Gray,
Beverly Morrero, and Lynne Masterson and several, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may call from 11:30am to 12:30am on Saturday May 31, 2014 at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, In the Parish Hall, at 7415 Williston Road, Williston Vt. 05495.
Burial will follow in East Cemetery, Williston, Vermont.
