HUDSON FALLS –

Marie A. Houlihan, 79, of Cherry Street, passed away, June 16, 2012 at her home.

Born on June 11, 1933, Montreal, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Gabrielle (Laberge) Boudreau.

Marie was a graduate of Catholic Central High School in Troy. She attended secretary school in Troy and worked as a secretary at BOCES, and later retired from Queensbury Central School. Following her retirement she worked part-time for Mr.Croswell Tuttle in his real-estate office in Lake George. Marie married John “Jack” Houlihan on May 26, 1961 in Troy, he passed away June 4, 1998. She was a communicant of the Church of St. Mary/St. Paul in Hudson Falls and enjoyed Ti Chi, shopping and decorating.

Survivors include her cousin, Lise Boyer and her husband Jacques Goneau of Granby, Canada; several cousins, great-nieces and nephews as well as her close friend, neighbor and caretaker, Jean O’Neil of Hudson Falls.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 9:00am Friday, June 22, 2012 at the Church of St. Mary/St. Paul, on the Park, Hudson Falls.

The Rite of Committal will follow at the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville.
