ARGYLE –

Marie F. Sangster, 71, passed away on Saturday, July 28, 2012, at The Orchard Nursing Home, Granville.

Born on February 6, 1941 in Cornwall, NY, she was the daughter of the late Francis “Nemo” and Helen (Clapper) O’Mara.

She grew up in Cornwall and graduated from Cornwall Central School.

Marie worked for the Village of Cornwall-on- Hudson Police Department as a Police Dispatcher retiring after 18 years of service.

She enjoyed visiting with her friends at Ye Old Fort Dinner and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Besides her parents, Marie is predeceased by her husband William Sangster.

Left to cherish her memories are her children, Raymond “Bo” Kenney Jr. and Kim Marie Rosenblum and husband Robert all of Fort Edward, her grandchildren, Ryan and Kacey Rosenblum, one great-grandchild, Layla Marie Rosenblum, a step daughter , Michelle Kenney Capuzzi and her children Kristina, Danielle, and Raymond.

Friends may call from 6-8pm on Thursday August 2, 2012 at M.B. Kilmer Funeral Home 82 Broadway Fort Edward, NY 12828. Services will be conducted at 8pm following the calling hours at the funeral home on Thursday. Online condolences may be posted at www.kilmerfuneralhome.com.

The Rite of Committal will be 1:00pm on Friday, August 3, 2012 at St. Thomas of Canterbury Cemetery, Mailler Ave. Cornwall, NY 12518.
