Obituary for Marjorie L. Case McDougall (Brayton)

Marjorie L. (Brayton) Case McDougall, 73, passed away at home peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, October 29, 2015.
Born in Albany on January 19, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Louise (McDougall) Brayton.
She was a graduate of Hartford Central School class of 1959 and was the salutatorian of her class.
Marjorie worked for several years at General Electric and Continental Insurance Company. Most recently she worked for Farm Family Insurance Company for over 30 years. She loved going to work and spending time with her co-workers. For a few years, she was the Town Justice in Argyle.
She was a member of the Elks Club and the State Magistrates Association.
Marjorie enjoyed, gardening, preforming wedding ceremonies as the Justice of the Peace, spending the summers at the lake with her extended family and most of all loved time with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, step-children, and step-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, Marjorie is predeceased by her husband, David McDougall, son, Michael Case, and sister, Shirley Shenk.
Left to cherish her memories are her children, Julia Case- O’Neil, Brian Case, Stephany Case-Euber and husband Jonathan II, father of her children, John D. Case; daughter in-law, Linda Case, grandchildren, Heather Tucker, Alicia Dumas and her companion Jake Martin, Courtney O’Neil and her companion Austin Savage, Charlene Euber and husband Jeremiah, Victoria, Jonathan, and Isabella Euber, Bridget Bailey and husband Chad, and Eric Gonyea, great grandchildren, Jordan and Connor Witters, Malakai Tucker, Brody and Kylie Martin, Ava and Marlie O’Neil, Britnee and Andrew Euber, and Via and Secora Saunders, step-children, John McDougall and wife Robin, David McDougall, Mary Ellen Griffin and husband Mark and all of their children, sister, Sylvia Weaver and husband Douglass and their two sons, Grant and Jason and wife Alissa, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Celebration of Marjorie’s life will be conducted at 4pm on Saturday, November, 7, 2015 at the funeral home with Rev. Patti Girard, pastor of the Hartford Yoked Parish, officiating.
