Obituary for Marshall Robert Kilburn

GANSEVOORT

Marshall Robert Kilburn, 21, went into the arms of the Lord who was waiting for him on Wednesday, May 26, 2021. He saved many lives by selflessly donating his organs in order help others.

Born May 30, 1999 in Glens Falls, NY he was the son of Tabitha (Rose) Slater and Ethan Kilburn.

Marshall graduated from South Glens Falls High School in 2017. He loved animé , Xbox and video games. He enjoyed snowmobiling and tending to his cats Toby, Samson, and Mason, and his lizards, Ace the Gecko and Cookie the Dragon. Most of all, Marshall will be remembered for his kind and sensitive soul, his huge smile and ability to make everyone laugh, and his love of the Lord.
Marshall was met in Heaven by his grandfather Winston “Pépé” Kilburn, his great-grandparents; Marion and Warren “Poppy” Canary, and Reva and Wilber Rose, as well as his special friend Kristen Funk.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents; Tabitha and Richard Slater and Ethan and Tammy Kilburn, his grandparents; Rev. Alan and Joyce Rose, Marie Kilburn, and “Nana” Shirley Slater, his brothers; Ethan (Elaine) Kilburn, Spencer (Shelby) Kilburn, Tyler Sheffield, and Hunter Slater, his sisters; Alexis Slater, Jack-Lynn Williams, and Addison Slater, his nephew Ethan III, his niece Lauren “La-La”, his partner Chelsea, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Friends may call from 2-4pm on Sunday, May 30, 2021 at the M.B. Kilmer Funeral Home, 136 Main Street, South Glens Falls, NY 12803.

A Funeral Service will follow the calling hours at 4pm at the funeral home with Rev. Alan Rose and Rev. Justin Fischer officiating.

Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
