Obituary for Mary Eileen Sclafani

Mary E. Sclafani, 78, passed away Friday, May 13, 2022, at her home surrounded by her family.
Born July 22, 1943, in Cold Springs, NY, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Florence (Simmons) Ryan.
After high school, Mary received her bachelor's degree in math. While raising four kids, she went back to ACC and received her associate degree in computer programming.
Mary enjoyed traveling, knitting, crocheting, making matching Christmas stockings for her family, baking with the kids, watching BBC shows, and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, Mary was predeceased by her sister, Margaret Masten.
Left to cherish her memory include her children, Eileen Sclafani, Catherine Belnap (Kevin), Jennifer Walker, Gregory Sclafani (Shauna); grandchildren, Nicole McMurry, Hannah Apsley (Abner), Emma Belnap, Braeden Belnap, Jack Foutz, Douglas Sclafani, Zoe Sclafani, Norman Sclafani, Lily Sclafani; great grandchildren, Keira Figueroa and, Colby Graves; siblings, Kathleen Lake (Joe) and, Elizabeth Casper (Richard); along with several nieces and nephews.
At Mary’s request there will be no calling hours.
A funeral service will be conducted on June 18, 2022, at 10am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints 411 Loudon Road, Loudonville, NY 12211.
Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
