Obituary for Matthew Allen Dutson
QUEENSBURY
Matthew A. Dutson, 52, passed away on Sunday, November 19. 2023 at the Westchester Medical Center with his family by his side.
Born December 16, 1970 in Glens Falls, NY, he was the son of Virginia (Lee) Dutson and the late F. Allen Dutson.
Matthew graduated from Adirondack Community College with a Associates Degree in Medical Coding. He went to work in coding at the Saratoga Hospital, worked as a security officer for Pyramid Malls, and most recently was employed at North Country Janitorial.
Matthew was an avid sports fan. He loved watching the Pittsburgh Penguins, The Boston Red Sox, and the Dallas Cowboys. He was a lifelong fan of the Star Wars franchise, and was very proud of his amazing vegetable garden. He will be greatly missed by many.
Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Virginia Dutson (companion Tim Murphy), his sister Jackie Muermann (Roy), his nieces, Lauren Muermann and Hannah Muermann, his uncle Lester Lee (Diane), as well as several cousins.
Friends may call from 12-2pm on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at the M.B. Kilmer Funeral Home, 136 Main Street, South Glens Falls, NY 12803.
A Prayer Service will be conducted at 2pm at the funeral home following the calling hours with Rev. Guy A. Childs, Pastor of St. Michael the Archangel Church, officiating.
Rite of Committal will be private and at the convenience of the family.
