Michael K. French, 63, passed away on Monday, January 14, 2019, after battling with a long illness.
Born on July 8, 1955, in Glens Falls, he was the son of the late Carl Henry and Dorothy Jennette (Hanchett) French.
Mike was enjoyed being outdoors which included hunting, fishing and camping. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR. Mike had a great personality that would make friends with anyone who he met. Anyone who knew Mike would know him for his colorful tall tales that he would tell.
Left to cherish his memory includes his siblings, Lawrence French and his wife, Sharon of Schenevus, Judith Stewart of South Glens Falls, W. Craig French of Glens Falls; his daughter, Jennifer Paradis of Glens Falls; his special aunts, Barbara Urban of Moriah, NY and Grace French of Witherbee, NY; and many nieces, nephews and cousins; plus, his longtime best buddy George Brown of Whitehall.
At Mike’s request there will be no calling hours.
A Graveside Service will be conducted in the spring.
