On July 7, 1982, Michael married Doris Girsch at St. Michael the Archangel Church in South Glens Falls.

Michael enjoyed fishing, golfing, and going to the casino with his wife. He also loved being outdoors and the ocean. Most of all, Michael loved enjoying life with his children and grandchildren. He will be remembered for passing down his strong work ethic to his children and for always “doing it right the first time.”
