Percy M. Wait, 47, passed away on March 30, 2014 at Albany Medical Center.

Born November 18, 1966 in Saratoga Springs, NY, he was the son of Helen (Bouchard) Wait, and the late Lawrence Wait.

Percy was an avid fisherman. He also loved taking rides in the car and riding his bike. Percy could always be counted on to take time out and help, especially children. He was a father figure to many and taught them things like how to tie their shoes or clean a fish. He most loved being a dad and spending time with his daughter Sadie Grace.

Percy is survived by the light of his life, his daughter Sadie Grace Sutliff, his mother Helen Wait, his sister Sharon Lavoy and her husband Willard, and their son Eddie Lee Wait, his sister Deborah Woodard and her companion Frank Vallencourt, and their son Keith Garmley, his sister Rena Charboneau and her husband Randy, and their children Randy Jr. and Helen Charboneau, his brother Lawrence Wait Jr. and his companion Meme Carney, and their children Rudy, Robin, and Lazarus Wait, his sister Brandy Wait and her companion Joe Gero and their daughter Mae Gero, as well as several aunts and uncles, several great-nieces and great-nephews, and many cousins.

At Percy’s request there will be no calling hours. A celebration of Percy’s life will be held at 1pm on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Turning Point Wesleyan Church 1063 State Route 4, Fort Edward, NY 12828. Arrangements are under the care of M.B.
