Obituary for Ralph F. Jameson Sr.

Ralph F. Jameson Sr., 71, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 due to complication from a stroke in January.
Born in Granville on April 13, 1941, he was the son of Florence (Scacchetti) and the late John Jameson.
He grew up in Granville on his late paternal-grandparents William and Philena Jameson’s family farm.
Ralph married Theresa Hemple on December 21, 1962 and settled in Salem where they raised their six children.
He later moved to Argyle where he built many homes on his land for himself and his family. Ralph spent most of his life as a logger and running a saw-mill with his sons working by his side.
In 2010, Ralph married his current wife Loretta and was enjoying helping her raise her grandchildren.
Besides his father and paternal-grandparents, Ralph is predeceased by maternal grandparents, Ralph and Mary Bernard, step-mother, Ann Jameson, step-father, Dr. Peter Casella, brother Frank Jameson, sister, Donna Joiner, step-brother, Peter Casella II, son, Tracey A. ‘Red’ Jameson, and grandsons, Nathan Martell, Ambrose Olsen and Daniel R. Tifft.
Left to cherish Ralph’s memories, besides his mother, are his first wife, Theresa Hemple and their children, Ralph Jameson II and wife Claire, Raymond Jameson and wife Betty, Rebecca Martell and fiancé Tom Young, Tammy Tifft and companion George VonElm, Travis Jameson and his wife Mary, Joan Jameson, RJ Fox and girlfriend Kayla, thirty-four grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren; sisters: Phyllis, Nancy, Jackie, Ginger, and Carol; step sisters: Suzan and Carol, loving wife Loretta and her children, Joey, Cerissa, Crystal, Rosalie, Lisa and Little Valencia, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
