Born on July 18, 1933, in Parmalee, South Dakota, she was the daughter of the late John and Rosella (Huber) Kaiser.

Ramona graduated in 1951 from Hot Springs High School in South Dakota.

She had many friends and family and enjoyed her grandchildren, participating in their activities.

Ramona was an active member of the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd meeting many of her lifelong friends. I did Mona's hair every Thursday at 10:00 for almost twenty years. You become very close visiting someone every week, checking in with each other. She was the same age as my mom, I went to school with her kids and we became good friends. I came to know everyone in her family and she even set her husband up with an appointment every month for a haircut.
We had some great conversations throughout the years. Mona would always see the positive side of things, she had an infectious giggle that would make me laugh. She was so caring and would always listen with a friendly ear. We shared some great times.

One of the funniest memories is when we talked her and my 10:30 customer ,Sharon, into joining us for our Pink Flamingo Night. I can still picture her dressed up in her pink polyester running around people's yards putting Hawaiian leis on the flamingos . I thought she was such a cool Mom. There was a time when I was over her house before going out on the town with Roger,Karen and Dora. Dora was a life-sized manikin that we would dress up for different occasions. It was Thanksgiving break and we sat around the table making Indian headbands and Pilgrim hat listening to Michael Jackson. We would take a drink every time he would go "whoo!"

Mona came to my wedding. She worried about me working on my feet when I was expecting and gave me lots of motherly advice. She came and visited when we bought our new house on King Ave, Mona was there through some important times in my life.

She will always be special in my heart . There are people in this world who walk through life with love. She was one of them. She will always live on as you can see pieces of her when you talk with her children. Mona, thank you for being my client, sharing your family and making my world sweeter having known you.

Karen & family , I’m so very sorry for the passing of Mona . She was such a wonderful dear woman . My family was blessed to move directly behind Mona & Bob and they were soo good to us ! Young children and our beautiful crazy ball loving Springer Sara . Sara wouldn’t leave you and Bob alone ever !! I think she spent more time on your deck with the ball in your mouth looking in your windows than she did at our house !! . Memories are golden and you will surely cherish them . Rest easy Mona with Bob and know Ramona Pratt you were definitely loved . ❤️❤️
