Obituary for Raymond Paul Bush Jr.
SOUTH GLENS FALLS
Raymond P. Bush Jr., 72, passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at Glens Falls Hospital.
Born June 23, 1941 in Ticonderoga, NY, he was the son of the late Raymond Sr. and Ida Mae (Farmer) Bush.
Raymond proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from 1959-1962. He was also a member of the Laborer’s International Union Local 16 for many years. He enjoyed fishing and was a diehard Yankees fan. He was recently treated to a trip to Yankee Stadium which he enjoyed very much. Raymond also loved to listen to music from The Eagles. He could often be found enjoying a cold beer. Most of all, Raymond loved spending time with his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Raymond was predeceased by a son, Ronald Paul Bush, and two brothers, Joseph and Bruce “Butch” Bush.
Left to cherish his memory are his children; Suzanne R. Bush, Shari M. Bush, Jazmine E. Wright, and David R. Desrosiers and his wife Sheila, his grandchildren; Terry “TJ” LaJeunesse Jr., Kira Bush, Kallee Bush, Samantha Bush, Saudia Ross, Crystal Desrosiers, and Jennifer Desrosiers, his great-grandchildren; Matthew Samora and Abbagayle Tripp, his sisters Shirley Terrill and Sandra Bush, his brothers; Fran Bush and Bob Farmer, the mother of Suzanne, Shari, Ronald, and David; Gayle Hoffmann, and the mother of Jazmine, Kimberly Wright, as well as many nieces and nephews.
At Raymond's request, there will be no calling hours.
A celebration of life will be conducted at 1:30pm on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.Arrangements are under the care of the M.B.
