Renee L. Coxon, 31, of Fort Edward, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 26, 2013.

Born March 4, 1982, in Glens Falls, NY, she was the daughter of Alex E. Parent and Camilla Coxon.

Renee graduated from Loyal Sock High School in Pennsylvania. She was employed at McDonald’s in Fort Edward. She enjoyed turkey and deer hunting, as well as fishing and camping. Most especially, she loved spending time with her beloved children, Zachary and McKenzie.

Renee was predeceased by her maternal grandmother, Natalie Houghlating, and her paternal grandparents, Mary Laraway and Earl Parent.

In addition to her parents, Renee is survived by her children; Zachary Coxon of PA, and McKenzie Rockwell of Fort, Edward, NY, her sisters; Doreen and Michelle Houghlating of Greenport, NY, her brother Daniel Houghlating of MD, her maternal grandfather, Earl Houghlating of Greenport, NY, her uncle Dale Parent of Philmont, NY, and her aunt Gladys Brown of Madison Bridge, NY.

Friends may call from 5-6pm on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at M.B. Kilmer Funeral Home, 82 Broadway, Fort Edward, NY 12828. A Memorial Service will follow at the funeral home at 6pm with Regina Haag of Adirondack Friends Meeting officiating.
