Richard Charles "Rich"  Weaver
NORTHVILLE AND FORT EDWARD –

Richard “Rich” Charles Weaver, 66, from Northville, NY passed away at his home in Fort Edward after a two year battle with cancer on Monday, November 4, 2013.

Rich was born on July 24, 1947 in Gloversville, NY at Nathan Lattauer Hospital; he was the son of Richard and Connie Weaver. Left to cherish his memories are his longtime girlfriend, Donna Lampmon, his parents, his brothers, Gary and Jeffrey, and two sisters, Annette Fordyce and Janice Waterhouse. He is also survived by two half-sisters, Cheryl Morrison and Jamie Weaver, nieces and nephews, Cody Weaver, Zachary, Jordon, Morgan Fordyce, Brandon Tubbs, Anna and Eli Waterhouse, and Maddy and Emma Morrison, his two cats he adored, Cassidee and Miss Mary, along with many cousins.

After graduating from Northville Central School, he attended Orange County Community College and Cortland College. He was employed by Quad Graphics for the last several years.

Rich was an avid pool player, overseeing a league of serious shooters in the area and also served as an officer for over ten years. He organized many successful Pool Benefits for various area charities and families in need. Rich played and won in many pool tournament and benefits. He also organized many pool tournaments for area tavern proprietors, including numerous ones at Time Served in Comstock.

The friends Rich made through these past years offered unconditional support for both him and Donna during this difficult time. As other activities became more difficult for him, he continued to enjoy trips to Turning Stone and other casinos. He often caught rides with the friends he made from the pool league. His family is truly grateful to these generous and caring people.

Generosity was one of Rich’s outstanding characteristics. He loved to give to charities of all sorts. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.

At Rich’s request, there will be no calling hours.
