Robert, this is James. To look at your hands, callused and stained with the materials of our trade shows the life that you and I lived while we had those years to work. We never left a pail at the bottom of a ladder when climbing with a free hand. We never had to be asked to help another roofer that was over toiled. My heart felt heavy as I heard this news. My eyes became watery red. I did not get to say "good bye" to you and that is as so it should be. Few will leave this earth yet remain within the sources of the universe. You are among that few. So why say "Good Bye" when all we have to do is close eyes for you to there appear? I respect you my Union Brother for all you are. I admire you for who you are. I enjoyed your camaraderie within the time we shared. Now ride into the sunset and through the clouds. Smile and be Free my Friend, Be Free.
