Obituary for Robert Lee Grinnell II
SOUTH GLENS FALLS
Robert L. Grinnell, 61, passed away on April 12, 2019 at his home.
Born November 19, 1957 in Glens Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Robert L. and Marlene J. (Wolf) Grinnell.
Robert graduated from South Glens Falls High School and attended SUNY Albany where he earned his Master’s degree in electrical engineering. He was employed by Rockwell Automation.
Robert married Denise Pashby on July 16, 2012 in South Glens Falls.
He enjoyed cycling, playing volleyball, and motorcycles as well as taking his dog Tasha on walks and hikes. Robert was also an avid skier, even teaching Denise how to ski at the age of 47. He enjoyed watching football, and was a fan of the Buffalo Bills.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Denise Grinnell, his son Robbie Grinnell, his sister Holly Lee Hall, his sister Faith Lambrecht (Gary), as well as several nieces and nephews.
At Robert’s request there will be no calling hours.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10am on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at St. Michael the Archangel Church, 80 Saratoga Ave., South Glens Falls, NY 12803, with the Rev. Guy A. Childs, Pastor officiating.
Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Memorial donations in Robert’s name can be made to the South High Marathon Dance, 6 Bluebird Rd, South Glens Falls, NY 12803.
