SOUTH GLENS FALLS

Robert E. Harrington, 84, passed away peacefully on Thursday May 9, 2013.

Born August 8, 1928, in Glens Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Elmer and Margaret (Mott) Harrington.

Robert married Della Richardson on January 4, 1946, at St. Mary’s Church in Glens Falls. He was a communicant of St. Michael the Archangel Church in South Glens Falls, NY.

Robert was an electrician and was employed by Kamyr for many years. He enjoyed his camp on the Hudson, coaching Little League, and he was a member of the Moreau Rescue Squad. Most of all, Robert enjoyed spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, Robert was predeceased by his wife Della, and two brothers, William Harrington and James Harrington.

Left to cherish Robert’s memory are his daughter Betsy McDonald and her husband Robert of Queensbury, his daughter Linda White and her husband Barry of Queensbury, his son Bob Harrington and his wife Melinda of South Glens Falls, his brother John Harrington, his brother Joseph Harrington, as well as eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on from 5-7pm, Friday, May 10, 2013 at M.B. Kilmer Funeral Home, 136 Main Street, South Glens Falls, NY 12803.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10am on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at St. Michael the Archangel Church, 80 Saratoga Ave, South Glens Falls, NY 12803, with Rev. Guy A. Childs officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in South Glens Falls.
