Obituary for Robert Lee "Bob" Linendoll

QUEENSBURY

Robert L. “Bob” Linendoll, 82, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at the Glens Falls Hospital with his family by his side.

Born January 7, 1936 in Argyle, NY, he was the son of the late James A. and Helen G. (Dayton) Linendoll.

Bob attended Greenwich School and proudly served in the National Guard. He spent many years working in construction, most recently with Duplex Construction and Frank Collins Construction.

Bob enjoyed fishing, bluegrass music, and watching and attending NASCAR races. He also liked snowmobiling and carpentry. Most of all, he will be remembered as being an extremely hard worker who would lend anyone a helping hand if they needed it. His family will fondly remember him as The Best Papa in the World.

In addition to his parents, Bob is predeceased by his sisters, Fleita Davis and Wanita McFarland.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of eighteen years, Laura (Reed) Linendoll, his children; Dennis Linendoll (Cindy), Robyn Linendoll (Brenda), Lori Watson (Ken), Lisa Losaw (Jake), Robert Linendoll, and Debbie Anderson (Phil), the mother of his children, Carol Linendoll, his grandchildren; Heather Munyon (Jamie), Heidi Comstock (Ryan), Randalyn Wright, Matthew Wright (Brittany), John Linendoll, Sam Linendoll, Ashley Linendoll, Courtney Sady (Nic), and Jenelle Losaw, several great-grandchildren, his step-children; Cherlyn Mattison and William Mattison, his step-grandchildren; William Mattison (Susan) and Robert Mattison, his step-great-grandchildren; Annora and Aidan, his brother Ernest Linendoll, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 4-7 pm on Friday, December 14, 2018 at the M.B. Kilmer Funeral Home, 136 Main Street, South Glens Falls, NY 12803.

A funeral service will be conducted at 6:30pm on Friday during the calling hours.

A graveside service will be conducted at 10:30am on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Pine View Cemetery in Queensbury with Rev. Nancy Goff officiating.
