Rocky Jon Symonds, 30, passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday, January 1, 2023.
Born August 23, 1992 in Glens Falls, NY, he was the son of Rocky (Rockwood) and Amy (Becker) Symonds.
Rocky graduated from the South Glens Falls Senior High School in 2011. He had a passion for working with his hands and loved physical labor, which spiked his passion and pride in sealcoating.
Rocky had a need for speed. He loved riding his motorcycle; it was his get away. Anything fast had his name on it. He enjoyed spending time outside and loved to fish. He loved True Crime TV, drawing, and animals; especially dogs. He had one of the biggest hearts, and loved his family and friends endlessly. His most cherished times were spent with his parents and little sister.
Rocky had a lot of love to give and took pride in making the people in his life laugh., which was easy once you heard his contagious laugh. Special memories will forever be in the hearts of his father Rockwood and sister Kayla of South Glens Falls, his grandpa Roger and grandma Bunny Symonds of Vermontville, his grandfather Robert Becker and his wife Maureen of Florida. He will be missed dearly by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his beloved mother Amy, grandmother Mary, aunt Joanie, and uncles Bobby and Paul.
Friends may call from 3-4pm on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at the M.B. Kilmer Funeral Home, 136 Main Street, South Glens Falls, NY 12803.
Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
