Roseann (Copeland) Scott, 85, passed away on Sunday October 7, 2012 at the West Broward Rehab and Health Center in Plantation, Florida following a long illness.

Roseann was born on April 5, 1927 at the family home in North Argyle; she was the daughter of the late David and Lillis (Clark) Copeland.

Roseann graduated from Argyle Central school class of 1945. She worked 13 years at the Telephone Co.

She married Richard T. Scott on Jan 1, 1959, the lived in the Lake George Area for many years. After retirement the couple moved to Florida.

Besides her parents, she was also predeceased by her husband Richard on March 6, 2003.

Survivors include her three sisters, Norma Combs of Abbeville, Alabama, Gertrude Paller of Massena, NY and Davine Hermens of Queensbury, NY; her step-children, Richard T. Scott and his wife Jean of Salem, MA, Barbara MacArthur of South Burlington, VT., several step-grandchildren, Kim Brody, Deborah Scott, and Peter Lavoy; several special nieces and nephew, Charlene Riley, Gary Paller, Jody Dervay, Cheryl Mackey, and Cynthia Secor; many special great and great-great nieces and nephews as well as her special friend, Sybil Ketcham of Argyle, NY.

Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at the North Argyle Cemetery, with the Rev. Stephen McLean, pastor of the Argyle Presbyterian Church, Argyle, NY.
