Obituary for Ruth May Tucker (Bearor)
GLENS FALLS
Ruth Tucker, age 94, of Glens Falls, NY passed away at Glens Falls Hospital on Monday, May 13, 2019.
Ruth was born on April 1st, 1925 in Fort Ann, NY. She grew up in Warren County and was a long -time resident of Saratoga County (Wilton) NY.
She was predeceased by her parents, husbands Milford Farr, and William Tucker, and her children Shirley Farr, William Farr, and Eva Moore.
She loved her animals, especially her old friend Skunk (dog) and her many cats over the years. She also loved to play bingo and her favorite drink was Seven and Seven. She would often do both while listening to her favorite style of music, country. Not known to be demure, she had a mouth that could make a sailor blush!
She fostered numerous children over the years after her children were grown. She gave them a loving home including, but not limited to, Jeff Hamblin.
She leaves behind her children Milford (Skip) Farr, Ronald (Ronnie) Farr, Patricia (Patty) Reynolds, Michael (Mike) Farr, Laura Knisek, Barbara Larson, and Dudley Tucker as well as eighteen grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
Friends may call from 11:30am-12:30pm on Friday, May 24, 2019 at the M.B. Kilmer Funeral Home, 136 Main Street, South Glens Falls, NY 12803. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 12:30pm following the calling hour by Sister Donna Irvine, SSND.
Burial will take place at Pineview Cemetery in Queensbury following the services.
