PORTER CORNER, NY-

Ruth Marie Tucker, 78, of Adirondack Court, and formerly of Buffalo, NY passed away Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at the Saratoga Hospital.

Born on Feb. 16, 1932 in Albion, NY, she was the daughter of the late John and Arlene (Herdendorf) Bloom.

Ruth had a strong faith and was a former member of the former Richmond Avenue United Methodist Church and the First United Methodist Church both of Buffalo. She enjoyed singing in the churches choir, crossword puzzles, bingo and especially spending time with her grandchildren.

Besides her parents, Ruth was also predeceased by her first husband, Harland Jackson, her second husband, Merritt Tucker as well as her sister, Joan Bloom and brother, Robert Bloom.

Survivors include her two sons, Paul J. Jackson of Porter Corner, NY and Jon R. Jackson of Buffalo;and her grandchildren, Abigail, Alexander and Morgan Jackson.

Friends may call from 10:30am to 12 noon Saturday, March 27, 2010 at the M.B. Kilmer Funeral Home, 136 Main St., South Glens Falls, NY 12803.

Funeral Services will be conducted 12:00 noon Saturday, March 27, 2010 at the funeral home with the Rev. Brad Jones.

Burial will follow at Pine View Cemetery, Quaker Road, Queensbury, NY 12804.
