Obituary for Sandra Lee Sanders

Our sister, Sandra Lee Sanders, passed away on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at her home with her sister Donna Jean Sanders and Sebastion the cat close by her side.
Sandra was predeceased by her mother and stepfather Joann and Dale Varney, her father James Robert Sanders, as well as her brother Peter James Sanders.
Left to cherish her memory are her sisters, Donna Jean Sanders of South Glens Falls, Mary Elizabeth Schempp of Wilton, and Karen LaPlant of Cohoes, her nieces and nephews, John Schempp of South Glens Falls, Lauren Schempp of Manchester, CT, Bernard LaPlant of Cohoes, Stephanie Howard of Glens Falls, and Michelle Pelletier of Schenectady, as well as her beloved cat Maddie.
Arrangements are in the care of the M.B. Kilmer Funeral Home, 136 Main Street, South Glens Falls, NY 12803. At Sandra’s request there will be no calling hours or services because it would be the last thing she would want. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the angels that walk the earth, Vickie, Lisa, and Pastor Tom from Community Hospice of Saratoga who so lovingly helped Sandra during her illness.
