Sebastian J. "Buddy"  Cicero
HUDSON FALLS

Sebastian J. (Buddy) Cicero, 82, passed into the Lords hands on Wednesday August 28, 2013.

Born February 24, 1931 in Fort Edward, he was the son of the late Angelo and Carmela Cicero.

Buddy was a Korean War veteran in the U.S. Navy. After Bud returned from his military duty he began work at General Electric in Hudson Falls where he worked until his retirement. Here he met his wife Molly; they were married for 50 years. Bud proudly adopted Molly’s four children and with the addition of another child he instantly became a family man.

Bud enjoyed hunting, bowling, and golf for many years. He is an avid Yankees fan, a current third degree member of The Knights of Columbus in Fort Edward, and a longtime member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.

Besides his parents, Buddy is predeceased by his sister Mickey Turco (Ohio), brother Joseph (Ohio), brother Robert (Hudson Falls), and his two nephews Joseph and John Montello.

In addition to his wife, Bud is survived by his sisters; Mary Curtis, Angela Viele, his five children Gwen Hook, Charmaine Long and husband Dan, Linda McDonald and husband Dan, Bruce Cicero, and Joseph Cicero and wife Lisa “Grover”. He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11am Saturday August 31, 2013 at St. Joseph’s Church, Fort Edward, with Rev. Thomas Babiuch, pastor, officiating.

The Rite of Committal will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Fort Edward.
