Obituary for Shirley Elizabeth Busch (Rozell)

Shirley Elizabeth Busch, 91, passed away peacefully on Monday July 21, 2014 at her home surrounded by her family.
Born in Glens Falls on November 1, 1922, she was the daughter of the late William and Ethel (LaPoint) Rozell.
On August 3, 1946, she married love of her life William Busch Sr. at St. Alphonsus Church in Glens Falls.
Shirley worked for Evelyn’s Flowers as a florist for over 20 years.
She enjoyed making floral arrangements, bowling, golf, and loved spending time with her family and friends.
Shirley was a communicant of St. Michael the Archangel Church in South Glens Falls.
Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her five brothers, Don, Bill, John, Wayne and Peter, two sisters, Jane and Nancy.
Left to cherish her memories are her husband of 68 years, William Busch Sr., son, William Busch Jr. both of South Glens Falls, two granddaughters, Janell Hodge and Jessica Morris, six great grandchildren, Keena, William, Daniel, Kyle, Tameka, and James, one great-great granddaughter, Braelynn all of Tennessee, one sister, Mary Havens of Queensbury, two brothers, Robert Rozell and Richard Rozell and wife Sue both of Glens Falls, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12 noon on Thursday, July 24, 2014 at St. Michael’s the Archangel Church, 80 Saratoga Ave, South Glens Falls, NY 12803.
Rite of Committal will follow at Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
