Obituary for Shirley Ann Freeman (All)

QUEENSBURY

Shirley A. (All) Freeman, 79, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at the Fort Hudson Nursing Home.

Born January 3, 1940 in Cobleskill, NY, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Lucy (Brown) All.

Shirley was employed in retail for many years including working at So-Fro, Ames Department Store, and the jewelry and fabric departments at Caldor in Queensbury.

Shirley loved cooking and baking and could often be found spending time in her yard at her home in Queensbury with her dog Norma Jean. She enjoyed gardening and grew lovely flowers and grew her own vegetables. She also liked sewing and creating crafts.

In addition to her parents, Shirley is predeceased by her niece Betty All and her sister-in-law Irene Brown.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Randy Freeman and his wife Marie, and James Freeman, her grandchildren; Randy Freeman, Bob Freeman, and Sasha Stolzenberger, her brother Ed All and his wife Susan, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

At Shirley’s request there will be no calling hours. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are in the care of the M.B. Kilmer Funeral Home, 82 Broadway, Fort Edward, NY 12828.

Memorial donations in Shirley’s name can be made to the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.
